- I'd like Daniel to identify something he's afraid of. i mean something that he personally finds terrifying. Not something we would all think is scary, like "Oh, yeah, spiders freak me out." I am wondering what shakes him to his core. What is it? Being in prison? Being blind? Being lost in a bad section of town? Being abandoned by loved ones? Whatever it is, I'd like it to be somehow engineered by this project, and I'd like him to take his video camera there. -- Dave H.
I absolutely love this idea and I see that there is more than one person who is suggesting it. I'm not sure how it fits into the geocentricity of the original concept though. I'd like to see the idea of travel and location explored more for this project. --Anne - filter
- I’d like to see Mr. Liss face his biggest fear. I’d like to hear and see the preparation, to taste the apprehension and then relish the reflection after it’s done. I do not have any idea what that fear is. If it’s heights, perhaps he’ll jump from a plane or a cliff or a building. If it’s growing old, perhaps he’ll visit a home full of geriatric denizens. If it’s death, perhaps he’ll hold the hand someone who’s dying. If it’s failure, I can’t even imagine how he’d face that. I make this request because I have yet to face my own, and I’d like to see how it’s done by someone I trust to do it right. -- donna
- This is the best idea so far because for people who don't know Daniel intimately, we can still push him on this idea - and learn more about him (and ourselves) in the process. I usually think we're all ultimately afraid of the same things, and I liked what Mica said about not screwing with the good thing Daniel already does. So the question instead becomes - what next? This project alone is scary, right?
PS - Daniel is afraid of being on camera himself. That might be all we need to consider... -- The Other B
